David Emmons, a family nurse practitioner, arrived at EMHC as a locum. He enjoyed working here so much that he readily accepted a permanent position. Emmons grew up in Oklahoma and started nursing at 17 as a CNA while working toward becoming an RN. Throughout his career, he worked in various positions, primarily in hospitals. He chose nursing to continue the tradition of his family’s legacy in the field.
