Community Health Resource Center (CHRC) Opens
Today’s grand opening really emphasized that even though we offer different services that often intersect, the destination is the same. All of us want to help you have better health outcomes. Thriving communities help individuals thrive and vice versa. The circle continues. The Community Health Resource Center (CHRC) is here to improve access to the interconnected, interdepartmental web we call healthcare.

Grants and Donations - In addition to offering funeral and wake funding assistance, the Grants and Donations department also offers financial assistance for those with medical needs.

The CHR program ensures people who are homebound are tended to by offering light homemaking services, medical transports, medication deliveries, case management and client advocacy.701-627-4340Women, Infant & Children (WIC) Program helps pregnant women and mothers with postpartum support through nutritional assistance, breastfeeding guidance, and referral services.701-627-4642Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps qualifying households with the cost of energy.701-627-2364Infant & Toddler Program focuses on the developmental progress of children from birth until the age of 5 through developmental screenings and providing referral services for children with special needs.701-627-2458Tribal Health Insurance may be an option for those who are denied Medicare, Medicaid, ACA marketplace insurance plans, and receive no other health insurance coverage.833-551-0859The CHRC houses a total of 16 tribal departments. Part of its service catalog includes space for Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Pathology when specialists in these areas come aboard.
