This presentation will review the nature and extent of ADRD in American Indian communities, with special attention to its cultural manifestation, assessment, and care. The discussion will highlight the explanatory models that underpin and need to bridge the different perceptions providers, patients, and families may have regarding the experience and expression of dementia.
