Accoo grew up in Long Branch, New Jersey. She has multiple licenses in the field of dentistry, and her hobbies include taking continuing education courses. In the late 1980s, she noticed many open positions in the field were listed in the newspaper, so she decided to give it a try. Her family’s motto is, “Where you start is NOT where you have to end.”
