Meet The Team

Kristen Janis is an Oglala Lakota from the Pine Ridge Reservation. She's the acting accounts payable specialist and Patient Referred Care (PRC) director with over a decade of experience in accounting and PRC. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with an Associate of Arts degree in information technology and is on track to earning a bachelor's degree in IT. Before joining the Elbowoods team, she worked at the Pine Ridge IHS as a medical support assistant in the PRC department and OB ward. Janis loves working with patients and assisting them in any way she can.
