Laura Olson, business office manager, grew up in Plaza, North Dakota. She has worked in hospital settings since 1999, starting with filing medical records and delivering patient records. Afterward, she performed patient registration for outpatient and ER admissions. In 2002, she transferred to the business office. Eight years later, she became a business office supervisor. Olson joined EMHC’s business office in 2015. When she first started in the medical field, she didn’t know it would ultimately be her career. She enjoyed and grew from each position, which helped her understand the flow of operations. She feels blessed and excited to watch and assist EMHC grow throughout her years. It’s exciting. Her favorite hobbies are hunting, fishing, ice fishing, and participating in ice-fishing tournaments.
